WMF Function 4 Cook Pots 5 Piece Set

The cookware was created together with the design office NOA Aachen, for the pot lid, the Apple Patent iPod MP3 player. Made of stainless steel and silicone, the lid has four different functions - inspired by the control wheel of the iPod. Practical, because depending on the position, liquids with closed lid can be drained completely or controlled: thanks to the large sieve openings, the boiling water escapes, the noodles remain in the pot. The same works with the small rice sieve openings. The closed position is designed for low-water cooking and the open to fully drain liquids. The red ring in the lid is a real eye-catcher. Made of heat-resistant silicone, it always sits firmly in the pot. The heat transfer of heat is reduced by the special hollow handles, so they stay cooler for longer. For long cooking times or when using in the oven, it is necessary to open the lid and carry the pot holder or oven gloves. The pots have a scale on the inside for easy dispensing of liquids and are made of indestructible Cromargan. The TransTherm universal base is also suitable for induction, it releases heat from the stove quickly and directly and retains heat for a long time. The series includes different pots, from the frying pan to the steamer insert to the saucepan. Those who like to cook regularly needs different pots, whereby a few basic shapes have proven themselves for standard equipment. This combines WMF in different sizes to a wide selection, whereby meat or stewing pots should not be missing in any set. Everything that needs to be cooked can fit in the cooking pot, as its rim is particularly high, nothing splashes out when frying meat and it also absorbs pasta, potatoes and vegetables without any problems. The stewing pot is a combination of pan and meat pot, the edge is higher than the pan, so hardly any fat splashes out when frying. At the same time, the rim is lower than the meat pot so that the liquid evaporates faster and you can easily turn the meat/vegetables. Made from easy-care and robust Cromargan, all pots are equipped with a TransTherm universal base and therefore suitable for all types of cookers, including induction.
