White Button Mushroom Growing Kit ~ Makes it Easy to Grow Your Fresh Shrooms!

The 12" by 12" kit offered weighs 12 to 14 lbs and can produce up to 4 lbs of mushrooms during the 6-8 week growing cycle. Once the mushrooms emerge they double in size every 24 hours! So much fun to watch for children as well as adults. Makes a Terrific Science project. Great for the Home School as well as in the Science Classroom (ANY age group!). This beginners kit comes with instructions, colonized growing medium and the casing layer YOU get to mix with water and apply. We have been making kits for over 15 years and provide detailed instructions to make it fun and easy for you to Grow Mushrooms! We love to interact with our 'growers'. We check for and respond to messages throughout the day. We are happy to work with you to help determine and fix anything that may go 'not quite as planned' along the way. When people have contacted us to troubleshooted in a timely manner - together we have reached success! The growing medium you receive is pulled directly from our farms growing beds. We keep logs to know which crop your kit came from so we may better assist you. We have never had this occur - however, If we experience a problem with any particular crop we will contact you to let you know if there are any special handling instructions for it or if necessary, send a replacement. Likewise, if during our troubleshooting conversations we determine it is best to send a replacement we will do so.
