1.We do not recommend adding an extra extension cable for the hub as it can cause slow transmission, HDMI port not being recognized, or other connective issues. not intended for use with gaming devices and high-power devices (external hard drives, iPad, etc.).
2.The USB ports are intended for data transfer. They only provide a minimal 0.5a charging.Power is shared between all dock-connected USB C devices and will adjust based on what is plugged in at the time. (Example: Mac book 65W adapter input = 5W for hub + 4W for USB ports + 4W for Ethernet port + 52W for Mac book.
