A brief explanation of each Bible story and meditation offer the opportunity to explore - as a family - the Bible readings, God's plan for His people and how we can prepare for the great gift of Christmas. Families can make their own Jesse tree of wood dowels drilled and glued together into a tree shape, rough sticks lashed together, a banner, wall hanging or even a large poster. The whole family can draw and color the daily icons on cardboard circles, wooden disks, cloth circles or small jar lids, whatever your imagination, talent and skill can come up with! This little book offers inspiration and suggestions for a family Jesse Tree, with the hope that you will make it your own. There's no "right way" to make a Jesse Tree.
