Product Description Discover how to have a successful horse business How to set up your horse business and run an efficient operation. M. R. Bain shares his experiences with developing horse businesses. Told from the standpoint of one who actually did what he writes about, he tells you how to structure your business, what you can expense or depreciate, marketing, insurance needs, and many other things. Review I  had a chance to share what I learned from you with a friend of mine recently. Turns out he was doing this old school - honor system with nothing in writing about anything! So I pulled your book off the shelf and asked him to read through it and let me know what he thought. He called today and asked if I would help him get his business plan and contracts developed. And he apologized for being closed minded, that after reading your book, it would appear I did know a bit about what I was talking about. Thank You for helping me help someone else get on the right track with their business. From the Author I have written this book to help horse owners have a successful business without some of the problems that can occur. It is based on my own experiences and on questions that are frequently asked by attendees at "The Business of Horses' clinics. You can contact me at businessofhorses.com From the Back Cover M. R. If iris a mare, sooner or later, we will want to breed it and raise a foal. Eventually, we start looking for our own place to buy or rent, so we can keep our horse costs down. And then we start boarding or training other people's horses and we are in the horse business. And as we enter the world of horses, how we set up our business entity and how we conduct that business will determine whether we are successful or not.
