Designed for mobile recording with an iPhone, laptop, iPad, Mac or PC, the Tascam iXR is a portable audio/MIDI USB interface that supports up to 24-bit/96 kHz audio resolutions. The iXR features 2 XLR Mic inputs with Ultra-HDDA preamps and phantom power, MIDI I/O connectivity, and two Hi-Z inputs optimized for guitar or bass. The interface offers advanced features in a simple format. The front-panel monitor knob provides easy access for zero-latency monitoring and the headphone output features a dedicated volume knob. Connection to powered monitors is also available via the two balanced TRS outputs and the unit can operate in stand-alone mode when you want to practice an instrument without recording it as well. Multiple power options include USB charger, mobile battery with micro-USB output, or USB bus power from a computer and the iXR is compatible with most major DAW software.
