- HIGH-QUALITY GLASS JAR & PERFECT SIZE: Wide-mouth bread starter jar is made of high-quality glass material, which is durable and not easy to break. The transparent glass design increases the visibility of the jar, allowing the sourdough inside to be clear at a glance. The wide mouth design makes it easier to add flour & water or clean & stir the contents in the jar. The jar is marked with scales, and their capacity can be clearly known.
- THERMOMETER & FEEDING DATE BAND: It comes with a thermometer and feeding date band, which is better to help you make sourdough. The feeding date band is an elastic band marked with the date & time, which can record the last time you fed the starter. Move the band sideways to indicate the feeding date & time, and move the band up or down to mark the starting feeding level. The thermometer can help you determine the current temperature of the sourdough (we recommend the temperature is 75-80 °F).
- SILICONE SCRAPER & SILICONE SPOON: Silicone scraper and spoon can mix your starter thoroughly, ensuring there are no lumps. it can also be used to scrape the things next to the jar to the middle and make the jar keep clean.
- HOW to MAKE SOURDOUGH STARTER: You just need flour, water, and our tools to start making sourdough. On the first day, add 4 ounces flour into our jar along with 4 ounces water. Stir well until all the flour becomes a thick paste, and cover loosely with the cloth cover. The next day, remain 1/3 of the starter and then continue to mix water and flour evenly and cover with a cloth cover. After repeated feeding for a week, observe the bubbles of the starter, and then start to make delicious bread.
