The HDHomeRun HDHR5-2US CONNECT DUO Tuner is a simple way to watch live HDTV on Media Devices. It receives free over-the-air TV programs and allows up to two devices to view different channels at the same time. Just connect the dual tuner to your home antenna and network router. Once you logged in HDHomeRun website, it will scan all the available OTA channels. Your gadget can also watch these shows via HDHomeRun View app. This greatly reduces your home bills by cutting off your monthly Cable TV subscriptions.
The HDHomeRun Tuner works with Emby media server. This personal media server platform enables you to stream media files inside and out of the house. Simply install the media software to your computer or NAS box. Emby's client apps support live TV on Chromecast, Roku, Android and Amazon Fire TV, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Android, iOS, and Windows desktop web browser. You can access Emby's additional features by subscribing to its monthly, yearly or lifetime Premiere subscription.
