Rossignol uses a full poplar wood core in this ski, which gives it good edge grip on firm snow, a nice stable feel from tip to tail, and performance that allows you to grow with the ski. It's not overly stiff at first, but as you start to put more energy into your turns the ski will respond accordingly. That's why Rossignol also includes carbon in the construction of the Pursuit 200.
