The LG / Kenmore filter is too expensive for many people so they just leave their filters without changing them, which results in people drinking water that is dangerous and unhealthy. Most of the generic filters on the market are of poor quality, which is why they are sold so cheap. These cheap generic filters are not designed to exact compatibility as the original, which results in leakage and damage to the refrigerator. These cheap generic filters do not design their carbon block filters with micropores of 0.18mm or multi-level filtration to insure maximal contaminant reduction. PURELINE has designed their LG / Kenmore filter to exact standards and design as the original LG / Kenmore Filter so that our customers will not have leakage issues and will drink water that has the same maximal contaminant reduction rate as the LG / Kenmore Filter original.

- PURELINE vs CHEAP GENERIC FILTERS: Most filters you see being sold are by Chinese companies making the same cheap generic filters and rebranding it under different names. These filters are all produced by one manufacture company in China that makes poor quality filters with basic carbon blocks that filter very few contaminants. PURELINE is a US based company in New Jersey that uses a different manufacture in China that makes a high quality filter with a state of the art carbon block filter.
- HIGHER STANDARD in FILTRATION::Our Active Coconut Carbon Block has micropores the size of 0.18mm to guarantee that even particle contaminants are not able to pass through the mechanical filtration of the carbon block. Our filter then utilizes electro-kinetic adsorption as the water passes through the outer wrap of the carbon block. Finally, the entire carbon block is lined with active carbon block particles to attract pollutants out of the water and into the carbon block (3 LEVELS of FILTRATION)

We made our filter exactly to their design for perfect compatibility with no leakage. We also use the same state of the art filter technology that they use for their filters. The only difference between us and the name brand filters is we do not charge the name brand tax, which is why we are considerably cheaper in price.
