This is because microfiber contains thousands of tiny positively charged hooks that literally attract dirt like a magnet and hold it in the cloth. Which means you need less chemical and water to clean any surface (which is good for the environment).

Regardless of who you buy from, microfiber will outlast cotton by a factor of 20 when cared for correctly. Always wash after every use as the tiny hooks may clog more easily when particulate sits on the cloth. Never use bleach or fabric softener as this will neutralize the natural positive charge of the cloth. Never dry the cloth in a hot tumble dryer as this will shrivel the tiny hooks which will reduce its effectiveness.

It is a lint-free and streak-free cloth and will give you a squeaky clean finish. A 12-pack is cost-efficient (on a per cloth basis) and will last longer between washes. You can launder these cloths up to 500 times.
