Bolio Reusable Hemp No 6 Flat Bottom Filters directly replace metal and paper filters as they posess the same or better flow factor. Hemp Filters make amazingly clear and bold coffee. The nature of the hemp fibers allows for all sediment to be captured like paper, but unlike metal, hemp will also capture some of the more bitter oils that are better caught like paper but are reusable hundreds of times. The hemp filter can be cured by adding 1 inch of water in a sauce pan and 1 tablespoon of used or unused coffee grounds and boiling for 1 min. To clean the filter, you can simply dump the coffee grounds into a compost bin or down the sink and rinsing the filter in warm water and allowing to dry in your dripper or next to the dishes. Hemp filters offer a superior coffee experience and life expectancy over thin cotton cloth filters. Cotton is not suited for coffee filtering for several reasons.
