The average kayak caddy is only rated for 150 pounds and is 1.5mm thick. On top of that we have conveniently sewn the first strap on to the frame into 2 pieces so that you don't have to worry about losing it. We have used rubber bumpers to keep your kayak from bouncing around. The 10 inch no flat tires have great traction and you never have to worry about air or the smell from cheap tires. With the pull of a pin the wheel comes off for easy storage in your kayak or backpack. The newly created no slip strap is a thing of genius and there is nothing else like it. Once you set it up 1 time it will be set for all future uses. We have tested this strap through all kinds of rugged terrain and even hooked up 2 kayaks to the dolly and never had a problem.
