"The Mood of Midnight" by singer/songwriter Gary Taylor is championed by smooth jazz and R&B fans alike. Opening with "In Search Of...," an anthem for all looking for love; continuing with tips to keep love in "Don't Go There," "Who We Are" and "One Day At A Time;" and topping it off with the sexy sax solo by Keith Fiddmont on "Time's Run Out Of Time." "The Mood of Midnight" is definitely an album that will be played over and over again.
Review
For years, Gary Taylor has been considered one of the finest balladeers by his peers. His rich tenor voice wraps around a song and infuses it with a passion rarely attained by many of today's current crop of vocalists. --
