Description
Today's electronic equipment requires shielding of conductors and without the proper termination of these shields, many problems can arise.
There is a technique called shield terminating that is commonly used to ground the shield of the conductor. Solder sleeves of high quality are the key to the technique.
Migiwata offers such kind of solder sleeves for you.
Migiwata solder sleeve is designed to splice bare or tin-plated copper stranded wire rated at least 80°C.
The transparent heat-shrinkable insulation sleeve constructed of radiation cross-linked modified polyolefin, color-coded and meltable thermoplastic rings.
Solder sleeve shield grounding terminator provides an environmentally sealed, insulated and encapsulated solder connection for a variety of applications with temperatures ranging from -55 to 125°C.
Compared to conventional wire and cable termination methods such as craft-sensitive, time-consuming, hand soldering or crimping, solder sleeve is a one-step wire-to-wire terminator, which is quite labor saving.

Features
- Durable: The outer layer is made of high-density shrinkable waterproof tube and adhesive. When heated, they will shrink to keep the wire from water, air and chemical corrosion.
- Good electrical conductivity: put the wire joint right inside the tin ring. When heated, the tin ring will melt and enclose the bare wire, to provide great conductivity and high tensile strength.
- Easy to use:you only have to peel off a length of the insulated layer of the cables, join the bare wire, cover them with the tube and use a heat gun to make it shrink to wrap up the cable
- Wide-ranging usage: the wire sleeve splice can be widely used in automotive wiring harness processing, auto accessories installation, drilling pump/motor power cable connection, outdoor lighting cable connection and maintenance of marine electronics.
- Recognizable: the heat shrink tubing is translucent to allow visual inspection of the connection; the hot melt adhesive ring inside is in different colors to indicate different diameters.
