Our Mammafong flat bottom wok is designed to sit flush against the flat top hobs making it perfect for all types of cooktops including electric, gas & induction. Featuring a heavy-duty carbon steel construction, our wok disperses even and quicker heat compared with other material - cast iron, non-stick, stainless steel, ceramic coated, anodized aluminium for a genuine wok hei flavour. Each wok is hammered by hand and shipped with a protected coating of oil. Once washed & reseasoned with oil your wok is ready to use. It will improve with age & use, developing a beautiful, black, non-stick patina and add authentic flavour to your cooking. Unlike a non-stick wok, you can heat it until scorching hot to sear meat and avoid sticking. It is also a very versatile piece of cooking equipment that can boil, steam, deep-fry and slow roast.
