Gluten-Free Prairie (GFP) is a Montana, woman owned and family operated business built on the foundation of the American dream that anything is possible. In 2005 GFP co-founder Deb and her daughter, Amy were diagnosed with Celiac Disease; an autoimmune disease requiring a lifetime commitment to a gluten-free diet. In 2012 the family followed their passion to bring healthy gluten-free products to the millions of consumers who are avoiding gluten.Gluten-Free Prairie (or GFP as it’s called by the family) strives to create gluten-free food that is not only safe for celiacs and gluten-intolerant people, but also people with no wheat allergies at all. Jeremy Wheaton, the baker in the group, has developed the recipes with flavor in mind. We think you’ll agree that Gluten-Free Prairie products can be enjoyed by just about everyone that likes tasty food. The Gluten-Free Prairie family is Deb and Rick Wheaton, along with their son Jeremy and his wife Jenn. At the heart of the business are higher protein pure gluten-free oats that are grown in dedicated gluten-free fields, harvested on designated gluten-free equipment and packaged in a certified gluten-free facility. There are NO glyphosate sprays used on our oats. GFP is proud of the purity and higher protein in all of their gluten-free oat products creating naturally gluten-free products that everyone can enjoy. GFP is 3rd party gluten-free certified by Celiac Support Association requiring their products to test at 5ppm of below of gluten. The most stringent testing in the industry. Oats are a great source of PROTEIN, fiber and B vitamin as well as a great source of beta glucans which is soluble fiber proven to help lower cholesterol.
