The DNA Aunt/Uncle Test is used in situations where the alleged parent(s) are not available for testing. The missing parent’s siblings can be tested against the child using the DNA Aunt/Uncle Test to determine the likelihood of a biological relationship. However, if the parent(s) in question are available for testing, either the DNA Paternity or Maternity Test is always recommended over the DNA Aunt/Uncle Test. Every analysis is automatically run twice, utilizing advanced robotics and analyzers in a fully accredited testing laboratory. The full genetic report is included with every test and is available online two business days after the laboratory receives the DNA sample*. The DNA sample is collected using a discreet, quick and painless mouth swab. This test can be performed on individuals of any age, including newborns.
