Addicting Soccer Game How did you come up with the idea for this product? Blake: “I love how soccer brings people and communities together. And I also love staying physically active. Back when I coached, I thought it would be nice to help my girls improve their touches in a fun way, not to mention my own…Fast forward: my dad and I play Futchi for the first time at the Gothia Cup in Sweden. Since my dad has never played soccer before, it was surprising and awesome to find a soccer game that he could actually play, and play well! And we found the game super addicting. Over the course of a week we played over 200 games together. At the Gothia Cup, I quickly realized that the Futchi concept could be far greater. It could bring not only my friends and family together, but also friends and families of people around the world. So we set off on a quest to build a product experience that does just that. Building a community that uses playtime to build skills, and provide physical and social benefits...Not a bad deal!” What makes your product special? The community. The app. The rebound.
