- GAS LEAK ALARM : - FTH-KBF1 is an automatic high-sensitivity gas leak alarm. It monitors the concentration of natural gas in your home and displays real-time gas concentration levels on the built in LED screen. When a gas leak is detected, the device will alarm (with a 70dB sound) to alert you and your family. After measured gas concentrations return to normal levels, the FTH-KBF1 will return to detection mode.
- WHY 7% LEL ALARM MECHANISM ? - LEL (Lower Explosive Limit) is a limit of gas concentration in the air that is used to predict the likelihood of dangerous conditions or imminent explosions. The FTH-KBF1 device uses a high-precision gas-sensing electrode; when gas concentration in the air is higher than 7%, the device will immediately alarm. After conducting more than 10,000 tests, we found that a 7% LEL level is both safe and minimizes false alarms.
- ENERGY SAVING & MATERIAL : - The FTH-KBF1 device consumes only 0.3W of power leading to annual power consumption is about 2 kWh (So annual energy consumption by this device costs approx $0.20-$0.30 per year). The device is constructed of medical aerospace grade polycarbonate material, with fire-retardant, wear-resistant, and anti-oxidizing materials.

- INSTALLATION AREA:- As shown, FTH-KBF1 device should be installed at or above 1 meter (approx 3 feet) from the floor. If installed in the kitchen, please don't install it in areas where it may overheat or be saturated by smoke or water vapor.
