Make sure that the hoist is properly bolted to a structure that can hold the hoist hold. 4. Always use proper couplings when connecting Hoist cable hook to load. 5. Do not overload the hoist. It will do the job better at the load it was intended. 6. Do not use inappropriate attachments to extend the length of the hoist cable. 7. Never lift people or hoist loads over people. 8.
