Description
This 1.5 Degree Bent Official derby axle for pine derby cars takes the stress out of getting your car to run straight or for steering your car gently into the rail to make a rail rider car.
Axle includes an Easy Turn slot in the axle head to turn the axle with a screw driver so you can easily turn the axle without damaging it.
To win races, your car needs to steer straight so you do not lose speed when your car hits the guide rails. To make your car roll straight, replace one of your front axles with this Steering Axle from Pinewood Pro. Orient the slot vertically, straight up and down. Then roll your car. If it is steering left or right, your car will lose speed.
To make it steer straight, simply insert a screw driver into the slot on your steering axles and turn it a few degrees left or right and roll your car again. Repeat until your car is rolling straight....it's as easy as that!
The Official Derby Steering Axle will help increase your car's speed while saving hours of time trying to fine tune your car's steering.
Package contains ONE single axle with a 1.5 degree bend for steering Convenient Easy Turn screw driver slot for easy turning Axle is polished A single, polished axle from the Official Scout kit In addition, axle head is cut back to reduce friction where axle contacts wheel
IMPORTANT NOTES: You only need a slight 1.5 degree bend to steer your wheels. THE 1.5 DEGREE BEND IS A VERY SLIGHT BEND THAT YOU CAN NOT SEE WITH THE NAKED EYE. However, if you roll the bent axle on a flat surface, you will see that it does not roll smoothly compared to an unbent axle.
