The difficulty level increases from one level to the next: *Level A -- short vowel (CVC) words *Level B -- short vowel words, many with ending blends and digraphs *Level C -- words with long vowel-silent e and easy long vowel digraphs *Level D -- words with harder vowel digraphs and vowel-consonant combinations Teachers can choose the level(s) their students need. Familiar game formats motivate students to play again and again -- and practice leads to increased reading fluency. With game boards for 6 players, use is flexible, accommodating groups of various sizes. The game board backs have picture dictionaries that provide visual clues to words -- especially valuable for ELLs.
