Yard + Garden is not harmful to bees, beneficial insects or your family. Why it Works: The active ingredient in Wondercide pest control products is cedar oil, which has been used for centuries to protect from insects (think Grandma's cedar chest!). Cedar oil works by blocking octopamine, which is necessary to regulate heart rate, movement, and metabolism in "bad bugs." When cedar oil is present in the area, pests are repelled. When contacted by cedar oil, pests die.
How & When to Apply: Apply to the bottom two feet of exterior walls of the home, working back to property edges. For active ant issues, soak the mound thoroughly, then work outward, ensuring you spray the entire lawn. For best results, apply in the morning or evening when temperatures are below 90 degrees. Treat twice within 2-10 days for treatment of active pest problems, then monthly for preventative maintenance.
