Woken is waking people up with our eco-conscious espresso pods. Oxygen-sealed and made from 62% renewable materials, our coffee capsule keeps your coffee fresh without endangering the environment. Our bio-capsule has been recognized as OK COMPOST by TÜV Austria / Vincotte since December 2017. Not only that, our stand-alone capsules are also produced exclusively using energy from wind, sun, hydropower, biogas and are certified carbon neutral.
Unlike other Nespresso espresso pods that use aluminum cups, capsules, or pods ours are aluminum and plastic-free. Since we use renewable materials, our capsules are BPA and PFAS free too.
Made with beans from India and Guatemala, Brazil, Ethiopia, and Tanzania, our Nespresso lungo capsules are rich and dark with a bitter woody aroma, and a more acidic finish than our other blends. With a level 6 intensity, it’s designed for those who live by the philosophy that espresso is meant to be strong and long.
