SpyCentre Security's Mini Micro Stick Voice Activated Recorder is one of the simplest audio recorders ever to come onto the market. The small size and form factor make it ideal for nearly any time you needed to record a lecture, meeting or for note taking. This device has 7 hours of battery out of the small, paper clip-sized recorder, however you can get up to 72 hours of use with the included battery pack, with a variable storage capacity based on the chosen audio quality of recordings. An LCD screen is a rare but sometimes really needed feature of audio recorders, and the on-board joystick enables you to navigate the menu and find the file you need to listen to, easily fast forward or rewind to the desired point in the recording and quickly delete unnecessary recordings. Easily and quickly start a recording just by holding the record button or turn it on with the power button to get to the main menu and the rest of the interface. Even while recording, you can set the detection distance to be favoring noises closer or farther away from the unit, up to about 24 feet away. Special software is not required, as the MP3 format files can be played on any Windows PC or Mac computer and it even comes with headphones or you can use the built-in speaker!
