Our sheepskin chamois is tanned with 100% cod oil, acknowledge as the best marine oil for this purpose. Because chamois is soft and super absorbent, it is most often used for car washing and drying. It is anti-scratch and will not leave water marks after use. Use hand soap only, never a detergent or solvent. It might reduce the lifetime. After use, washing in mild soap and water, leaving a small amount of soap in chamois and wringing out gently, pulling back into shape. The soap film protects the marine oil finish in the leather. Just rinse it first when you next want to use it. Avoiding direct sunlight and heat. The first time washing will lose some floating particles which is nomal, no need to worry about it.
