The solar can be use direct sunlight and indirect light(such as cloudy, rain or other light), but if use indirect light, it would be charged slow(not suggested). General, for first time use, we suggest that you charge it electrically for 10 hours. And it need to be charged electrically when it runs out of electricity and without any light.
If the solar camera doesn't work in the dark, please don't worry , you could charge it electrically. To keep it working in night, please turn on the PIR function and turn off others, or connect by charging electiocally
