Cleaning direction:
Just clean spurtles with washing soap and water with sponge/cloth. The spurtles are not dishwasher safe so do not put into it. When wooden spurtles are exposed to oil and heat, their color usually darkens, but they can still be used perfectly. After wash, hang them dry using given FREE hooks :)

Why use teak wooden utensils?
Teak wooden spoons don't quickly heat to scalding temperatures, react with foods, or scratch pots and bowls, as their counterparts do. They don't melt or strange tastes into hot foods as plastic does. This teak wood has performed better than acacia, pakkawood, bamboo in our experience for kitchen utensils.
