We have tasted sun-dried tomatoes from many different sources but none in our opinion, imported or domestic, compare in flavor to these. Grown in Virginia #39;s lush Shenandoah Valley the tomatoes are picked at peak freshness assuring full sugar development and sweet robust flavor. They are slowly dried in temperature-controlled wind tunnels without any sulfites. One taste will convince you of the difference. The grower and producer is a personal friend. Note: Salt has not been added to these tomatoes. However, tomatoes contain natural salt. During the drying process, the natural saltiness becomes much more pronounced.
