Now all NUK pacifiers are available in a reusable storage case that allows for easy cleaning in the microwave. (Based on Market Research, 2017, tested with 307 pacifier users) Prior to First Use: Sanitize the pacifiers by boiling in water for 5 minutes. For Continued Cleaning: Add at least 0.7oz/20mL of water (to the bottom of the fill line ton the case). WARNING: Using less than 0.7oz/20mL of water to case may cause warping of the case and/or pacifier. Place one case at a time in the microwave with nipple facing down and the case closed for 4 minutes at 700 up to 1250W. Before removing content, let cool for 5 minutes. Carefully remove the case from microwave, open case, and pour excess water out. Caution: Hot Steam may escape case when opened. Check the temperature of the pacifiers before use. Periodically wash the case and pacifier with hot water and mild detergent then rinses clean. Water may get inside pacifier during cleaning and can be removed by squeezing the nipple. Dry thoroughly before storage. For hygiene and safety, replace the case and pacifiers after 2 months of use.
