Royal Icing recipe: 2 cups powdered sugar (does not need to be sifted) 2 table spoons Meringue Powder 1/4 cup warm water 1/2 teaspoon clear vanilla or flavoring of your choice. Add more water to reach the consistency you need. It yields 2 cups royal icing. The great thing about this recipe that is easy to double or triple. Please NOTE: We recommend using egg whites instead meringue powder when making Meringue Pies or Meringue Cookies. Ingredients: Sugar, Dextrose, Dried Egg Whites (With Sodium Lauryl Sulfate), Cream of Tartar, Algin, Salt, Sodium, Calcium Sulfate, Hexametaphosphate, Locust Bean Gum, Xanthan Gum, Artificial Flavor. Shelf Life: Over 1 year if kept in cool dry area.
