Leaves permanent, clear marks through a wide variety cutting oils and soapy lubricants, rust preventive coatings and other types of hydrocarbon coatings. Can be used on most types of coated metal surfaces including powder coating, rust protectants, PVC plastics and epoxies. Writes on surfaces and in air temperatures as cold as 50 degrees_fahrenheit below zero with a clear, permanent mark.
