Backgammon is one of theoldest Board Game Tavlas whose history can be tracked back approximately years toarcheological discoveries in Mesopotamia. Backgammon is a game for twoplayers, played on a board consisting of twenty-four narrow triangles calledpoints. The triangles alternate in color and are grouped into four quadrants ofsix triangles each. The quadrants are referred to as a player's home board andouter board, and the opponent's home board and outer board. There are two dicesand fifteen checkers for each of the two colors which represent the players.  The object of the game is move all yourcheckers into your own home board and then bear them off. The first player tobear off all of their checkers wins the game. Luck and stratergy are the main aspects of this boardgame. The number that come up on the dices depens on the luck can effect thegame outcome however also the strategy of the players effects the game outcome.Therefore, backgammon is a game which is a combination of luck and strategy.
