This DA backing plate comes in nearly every size you need, from 3”, 5”, and 6” dia., and fits polishing pads from 3” to 6.5”. As long as your DA polisher has a 5/16" sized thread, this backing plate is sure to fit and be a useful tool in your arsenal.
Constructed to be highly durable, our backing plate is reinforced with steel and made of premium molded urethane for an even and thorough polishing experience. The flexible backing plate retains strength throughout the job and is also able to fit in those curved and contoured surfaces. No angle is inaccessible as you polish and buff out scratches or imperfections. You can safely use your polishing machine without fear of accidental contact. Our backing plate is built to leave plenty of space between your dual-action machine and buffing surface so you can have the utmost confidence in your work. Our backing plates are also very easy to use.
