- HIGH-CARBON STAINLESS STEEL - The blade is made from Vanadium high-carbon stainless steel that allows for a high degree of hardness and durability. Their special heat-treating technique combined with sub-zero cooling at -70 degrees Celsius creates extremely durable, flexible, unbreakable blades with superior edge holding ability. The Hamaguri “clamshell” blade, which originates from traditional Samurai swords, is what sets Kanetsugu apart from other knives.
- RUST RESISTANT – The Heptagon silver handle is made of aluminum which is both rust and rot resistant, and the signature heptagon-shape handle allows for secure control and comfortable grip when chopping or slicing.
