The idea grew, when the founder used a conventional knock box and got annoyed with the knock off rod again and again:
Either coffee remained got stuck on the rod (during knocking off as well as during emptying) or it was constantly in the way when cleaning it.
This needed to be improved urgently.
Due to his former job as an industrial mechanic, he was able to quickly understand the technical process and began working on optimizing the box.
At last he found a better solution: a knock off pad that is attached on the side which simplifies the usage.
From this point on, the mission was clear: Homeffect is an innovative brand that keeps optimizing household products and provides progress.

- 𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐂𝐊 𝐎𝐅𝐅 - When the portafilter is knocked off, the coffee grounds now fall directly into the grind box. The raised rear wall prevents splashes. No cleaning the countertop afterwards!
- 𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 - Improved handling with the side-mounted knock-off pad: The coffee ground no longer sticks to the rod, both when knocking-off the portafilter and when emptying the knock-box!
- 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 - Thanks to the wide opening, the container is now freely accessible. The inside can be rinsed with water comfortably. Also suitable for the dishwasher!
- 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐅𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐒𝐈𝐙𝐄 - On most espresso machines, the dump bin fits onto the drip tray in a space-saving manner, so that it's always tidy and ready to use at all times. It's about your daily barista life!
