Our heavy-duty stainless steel barbecue tongs were built for the upper limits of family BBQ and will handle heavy slabs of meat with ease. It's constructed with a ticker gauge steel and won't bend or twist under load. The beautiful Acacia wood handles gives this grill tong a firm grip and improved control. It keeps the grip surface cool, even in out-of-control flame-ups. We specifically chose Acacia wood for it's durability and resistance to water damage. The Shark BBQ professional grade food tong also features a convenient one-hand lock mechanism. To use the tongs, point it down at the floor, give it a little shake and watch the lock-tab slide in, unlocking the tongs. To lock it, point it upwards this time, repeat the shake and the lock-tab will slide back into the lock position. Cleanup is a breeze. Wash the grilling tongs with warm water and dish detergent using a non-abrasive scrubber or nylon brush. Avoid the dishwasher. Coat the Acacia wood handles with mineral oil as needed to keep the wood looking vibrant and protect it from drying out.
