They really make us howl! "What gets wetter as it dries?" The answer is "a towel"! Joke, joke, joke. I love a Grandpa joke! Grandpa's hands hide fun surprises. Which one holds the winner? I choose right — hooray for me! Green grapes won't spoil my dinner. Grandpa's love is strong and sure. He helps to guide my way. When I fall, he picks me up And makes it all okay. Grandpa's walks are every day. He lets me come along. Skipping down the road, we whistle A happy little song! Whistle, whistle, whistle I love a Grandpa whistle! Grandpa's games are just the best. "Go Fish" is number one! Sometimes I lose; sometimes I win. But either way, it's fun! Grandpa's hobbies bring good times. He loves to take me fishing. Some days we may not catch a thing — That won't keep us from wishing! Grandpa's books fill up the shelves. He reads aloud to me — Grand stories of adventure, And tales from the deep, blue sea! Story, story, story. I love a Grandpa story! Grandpa's chair is comfy-cozy With room enough to share. Before it's time to go to bed, We say a nighttime prayer.
