This is the complete package. It includes cookie mix for the shells and the buttercream filling. Key to success: Avoid excess water. Use a timer (your cell phone has one). Note the different instructions for conventional bake vs convection bake settings. To make dairy free macarons, use room temperature unsalted dairy free butter to make the buttercream filling. Make sure butter is unsalted and at room temp, cold butter won't work. Handheld mixer: add cookie mix and 1/4 cup water at 122'F to a deep clean bowl.
