The key to these dispensers working properly is having the soap the correct viscosity.
1. In order for foam to be produced the soap needs to be significantly thinner than typical soap. Foaming soap can be purchased or you can first fill the dispenser with 1/3 - 1/2 water then fill the rest with your favorite soap and shake until mixed. If it doesn’t readily pump / foam you need to add more water.
2. Once you determine the correct balance of water to soap these work great and will save money on soap - especially if you like more expensive liquid soaps.
3. While these dispensers require figuring out the right mixture of soap to water, or buying special foaming soap, once you do, they work well. The dispensers are a convenient size for traveling or carrying your favorite soap with you.
