About Us
Leo Cotter, an architect by trade, founded Craize in 2015. He has over 20 years of experience in the food business. He has worked closely
with the South American staple called "Arepa" (cornmeal patties), and seeing an opportunity for an evolution of this healthy and traditional
product into a snack, he brought forth the first Arepa Crisp.
A unique patented process results in an extra crunchy and very thin crisp that was launched in April 2017 in Miami, with excellent sales and
reviews from the consumers. Craize Maize Thins are sold by Whole Foods, Fresh Market, Winn Dixie, Milam's, Lucky's Market, Earth Fare
and a growing number of speciality markets.
