The Panaji Tornado was first introduced into service in 1979-1980 and finally being retired in 2019 After playing multiple roles in many conflicts around the world during those years of active duty. Some of its roles included low level fly-bys, battlefield reconnaissance, maritime patrol duties, armed with long range anti-aircraft missiles to serve in the interceptor role.
