The beautiful rose gold copper plating is rust resistant, food grade, non-toxic and 100% safe to use with food. As the set is made of stainless steel, the items will not bend or lose shape easily, and it is safe to use them with hot substances, as they do not have a high thermal conductivity as full copper tools.
If you have experience using copper pots, flatware, or any kitchen accessories, expect a similar type of eventual color reaction to exposure.
