Our Lawn, Leaf & Yard Waste Bags are Sized equivalent to regular yard waste plastic bags. These bags breathe without leaking, which can reduce the weight of the bag at pick up because moisture can evaporate. Many communities have banned the use of polyethylene plastic bags for yard waste removal, because PE bags can not be composted with the yard waste or burned. The ASTM D6400 is the North American equivalent of the European EN 13432. Both specifications require that biodegradable/compostable products completely decompose in a municipal composting setting in a specific time frame, leaving no harmful residues behind. These bags may not be suitable for Home composting depending on your composting method. For best results: Use within 1 year of purchase; Store in a cool, dry place away from excessive heat.
